Abstract

Dear reader,

It is pleasure to introduce the second issue of Evidence Based Women’s Health Journal in its new look. As we promised our readers that, we will keep on publishing a high quality research articles and providing them with the best available evidence, in this issue we have modified the style of the first page in the articles to contain a box, which states the current knowledge about the published topic and what is added?, by these articles. Therefore, we will be able to supply our readers with the different point of views, as well as, highlighting the value of the published work. Moreover, I would like to declare that all our articles have been investigated for plagiarism at the eTBLAST website that is an online search engine for text similarity.

We are proud to announce that, the maximum ratio of similarity in our published articles was 0.19, whereas, the cut off value for considering a plagiarism was 0.56.

The year 2012 will carry a surprise to our readers, as Lippincott Williams & Wilkins publisher will publish our journal. This joining will enhance our journal and its distribution. We hope that this new association satisfies our readers.

Besides that, we want to confirm that we are committed to our policy by providing rapid review process and allowing open access to all articles in a downloadable form, to be widely distributed.
