An Update of Endometriosis Associated Infertility

Abstract

Endometriosis is affecting about 5-10% of women in the reproductive age group, its prevalence is higher in subfertile women. In this review we tried to search for the recent trends in management of endometriosis as regards female fertility. In conclusion, endometriosis should be managed in step wise approach, and the management should be tailored according to patient age and disease severity. It is important to mention that reliable evidence is not available for every step of management, so it is essential to allow couples to participate fully in making decisions about their treatment.
